·As I understand it, not really a concern unless the lead paint was loose and you ingested it, or it was agitated by something like sanding the paint, causing particulate.
Babies like nothing better than gnawing on a cot rail when they're teething. Know this from 1st hand experience as a parent.

Figured it out - you Brits call baby houses “cots.” We call them “cribs.” Thus, when I saw cots, I just assumed we were referring to a portable bed, which is typically not used for an infant, and anyone in it is usually past teething time.

·I slept in a lead Paint cot as a kid, drove cars with lead fuel not that unleaded crap those vegan politicians make us use nowadays.
Bite lead split shot sinkers closed with my teeth.

Our home when growing up was all lead piping, remember in harsh winters my father sorting leaks by battering the pipe flat with a hammer.
