Wanna buy Omega Vintage watch.

Hi, how are you? These are the following options of watches that I could buy, remember that the prices are in Argentine Pesos (20 pesos are 1 dollar)

Which is the best for me in relation to quality price? I do not want a frankenwatch.

Hello and welcome to the forum. May I suggest that you present 1 or 2 of the watches that most interest you and why that is so. You are more likely to receive feedback that way. Accurately reviewing a vintage watch requires much time.

I'm looking the best relation to quality and aesthetic. Also, the better machine.

Both dials are refinished. I would recommend staying away from any watch from Argentina.

I find sellers there less than honest. There are many fakes and watches put together from parts of other watches (we call these "frankenwatches").

That watch is a fake, or at least a very poor refinished dial. We have a thread titled “don’t fall for a fake vintage Omega” you should read.

But 150 dollars with a real machine, real crown, with good aesthetic and a redial it's a nice price right? I'm in Argentina, it's difficult to import watches from USA.

I've seen that thread, but the 2 last ones i posted aren't fake.

Of the 7 watches you posted, not a single one has an original dial.

You would do much better on eBay, believe it or not.

Like I said, there is nothing but trouble in Argentina when it comes to vintage watches.

I know, but importing watches from usa to Arg it's tecnically impossible.

The owner says he haves 2, one with redial and this, with the original dial. What do you think?
The movement has at least two different shades, which would imply that parts of different watches were used here. It is also missing case clamps. My guess is that this is a frankenwatch, although the dial does seem to be original to either the movement or case. Just don't know which.

This dial look original.
Agreed, but it is very poor condition. Crown is definitely not original. No movement picture at all. I would be afraid to see it, as I fear it would be in equally poor condition.

I'm sure that somewhere in Argentina there is a honest watch dealer, but I haven't seen one yet.

I think only Lou S, Marc / MMMD, and myself have fished honest and pristine watches from Argentina. That leaves HUNDREDS of people who get rooked, including when selling to somebody in Argentina (ask Joe K about his travails one day).
