Hi, new here, hope you can help out.
Got an old Omega watch from a heritage. I have extensively searched for it, but can't seem to find the exact type.
Looking for the type, and perhaps a link where I can find anything about the history.

Any advise is welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Wil

Photos of the inside would be very helpful.

I hesitate opening it, as I'm not an expert, afraid damaging it with a screwdriver, what's a good way to open it?

Look closely around the side where the back attaches, and you will find a small gap for a sharp knife.

Tried with a knife, didn't expect this, now definitely not sure to continue, only front came off seems....

Bring it to watchmaker
It's ok, you haven't damaged anything. As @SOG53 indicated, this type of watch isn't so easy to disassemble.

whatever the watch is, the dial for sure has a lot of charm, possibly from the mid 40s.
