路For sale is a steel Waltham Alarm watch with a stunning matte black explorer dial!
Flawless matte black dial with original tritium that has aged very nicely to a warm yellow tone, the dial also have a 24hour scale to easily monitor the alarm function.
Steel case that measures 34mm excluding the two original crowns and takes 18mm straps. Some minor scratches on the screwed down caseback otherwise no bigger dents or flaws.
The case looks a bit shiny so either it have been polished some time or its just from wear.
Movement is running strong and keeping accurate time, the alarm function works 100% and have a distinct ring and vibration to it. You control the bottom crown just like a regular watch with winding and setting the hands while the top crown controls the alarm function.
You wind the crown to load the alarm spring, you set the alarm hand and then turn on/off the alarm function by pulling out/in the crow. Outer position = on and regular position = off.
So this is by far the easiest and most user friendly vintage alarm watch I have owned, very easy to set, use and turn off the alarm function 馃榾
The "military" strap on the pictures will be included.
(My wrist is 17.5cm for comparison)
