Up for sale is a fantastic and uncommon vintage Omega Seamaster that dates back to 1956/7. Fantastic original, unrefinished dial with sunken subseconds at 6 o’clock. Applied Omega sign and dagger markers. The dial has developed an awesome spiderweb type patina that gives the watch a very unique look. Stainless steel case measures just over 36mm, not including the crown, which I would consider a jumbo size (there are plenty of threads on OF regarding what constitutes a jumbo size watch). Regardless, it’s a large watch considering its vintage and suitable for those with a big wrist or those used to larger modern watches. Inside is a cal. 267 manually wound movement, part of the highly sought after 30mm lineup of watches. Serviced in June 2020. The last photo was taken by my watchmaker during servicing. Comes with service receipt. Serial number: 15,xxx,xxx The case back is being stubborn and not willing to pry open. I don’t want to risk damaging the back but I’m fairly certain that the reference number is 2937-2. Omega signed crown. Pictured strap is included in the sale. Price: $1100 USD (net) plus shipping. I’ve priced the watch at a substantially lower price than an example (unserviced) that sold a few months ago. Watch and I are in Canada.
