'82 Fat boy on original nato.

I have the original strap for my '82 but it's too dirty to wear(with me being the second owner). I keep thinking maybe I should put it through the wash(which in itself feels wrong), but not sure even then if I would use it.

For now I just keep it for prosperity.

Can this young boy join the party?

Nice watch although I am slightly biased 👍

Thought I should start posting some of my milspec pieces. Many of you are familiar with Smiths W10, this model from 1970.

Not mil issue, but one of the most badass dials I've seen. Vintage Squale case, and I've never ever seen another.

That's a nice watch.

From wikipedia:
The 13th Group acquiring targets "Aquileia", better known by the acronym GRACO, was a mixed artillery and paratroopers italian military department. Founded in 1959 and active until 1993, it settled in the "Ugo Passalacqua" barracks in Verona; it was a department specializing in the acquisition of enemy targets both with remote controlled airplanes of the Binary Planes - BAT and with the paratroopers of the Target Acquisition Battery - BAO. Motto of the paratroopers was "Videre nec videri" adopted today by the 185th Rgt Paratroopers RAO who inherited the tasks.

Thanks

There seems to be only 1 version of that watch floating in pics on the internet. It's all the same watch (certain tiny scratch on the pvd).

I've contacted the original EBay seller in Italy from years ago, couldn't tell me anything. I reached out to the XIII GRACO FB group, no response.

I'd love to find more about the history but looks like it'll take a long time.
