Today it’s a 1950’s Rodania RCAF monopusher. Keeps fantastic time!

OMG flashback! When my father retired from the RAF in the mid '60s, he gave me his Lemania chronometer which looked remarkably similar to your RCAF Rodania. In the folly of youth, I threw it out when it stopped working, and replaced it with a cheap and nasty digital POS. Damn I could kick myself now.

My small military family, with an Eddie Platts interloper. I'm with @Alpha on this one, they are great watches. Weirdly, the only one I've struggled to bond with is the Bund -- in collector terms, its the most desirable, but tt feels like wearing a soup plate on the wrist.

Nice Heuer Bund if you feel it's to big there are two other Bunds before the Heuer was issued that are smaller in size the Hanhart 417 and Junghans. The Junghans being the most compact in size.

Not particularly attached to bunds per se, although I’d truly love a Blancpain 3H kampfschwimmer, but your Hanhart is a very good looking watch

Enjoying this thread immensely.
That Tavannes with its dial (enamel?) and wire strap loops rocks. neat choice of strap as well.

This Hanhart is one of my favorite fliegerchronographs. Kind of cold-hearted at 18000 vph, but keeps fabulous accuracy.

It's a Zenith and the dial enamel with out one crack and that's rare for a 100 year old watch. Some times I think they should go back to enamel dials they never fade and the color of the letters and number stand the test of time as if the dial was made today. And really nice Hanhart.

River Rat: Your Zenith looks awfully tasty. Would you consider posting a larger image of the watch itself?
