·First and foremost, thanks to the mods for a dispensation regarding the 200 post rule so I can offer this watch, and thanks to OF for the space.
Up for sale is another cool time only Wittnauer. This one was serviced by my watchmaker in 2015, but has never really gotten wrist time. So, time to find it a new home!
I won't rehash the lack of available/accessible information on vintage Wittnauer, so I will stick to telling you what I can observe. The watch features a stainless steel screwback case engraved with "JJW," that measures 33mm across excluding the crown, and 35mm high. It has applied, faceted hour markers, and an applied logo. There is some patina around the markers and some spotting throughout the dial (notably in the area from 10 to 12 o'clock). Movement is a 17J automatic, which is currently running well. The case may have been polished in the past but the bevels/facets are clearly visible. The crown may be a replacement - it is not branded.
For this watch I am asking $250 shipped within CONUS (preferred). Local pick-up also welcome in the NYC area. I may ship internationally on a case by case basis, and at the buyer's cost. Accepted payment methods are wire transfer and Paypal (buyer covers fees). I can provide references relating to purchases from and sales to fellow OF members on request. Returns only accepted if the watch has been grossly misrepresented.
