I have had seven vintage Omega watches serviced in recent months by Paul, the owner of Watch Galaxy in Boulder, CO. Paul has over 45 years of watch servicing experience, and can work not only vintage Omega, but Patek, Rolex, etc. So, if you are looking for an experienced vintage watchmaker, contact Watch Galaxy! Fair prices and good turnaround times as well. Cheers

I would not recommend this watchmaker for anything other than a dunk and swish. Contact me by PM if you want more details.

Their Yelp reviews are... interesting. While I typically take them with a serious filter and grain of salt, there is a distinct lack of standing behind one's work. I'd love to hear @Dan S 's story in public if only to spill tea, but frankly, based on everything I can see from this place, this thread is not likely to help them.

I looked at the first few pages of reviews just now. They get pretty good reviews for battery changes and fitting straps. Otherwise, not so great.

Quite a few negatives on battery changes as well! Including someone's watch that they did a battery swap, screwed up the gasket and didn't tell the person (or, at least, noticed a damaged one and didnt replace/suggest replacement), then when it leaked, charged them to fix it.

Well, I was simply sharing my personal experience. And I don't own any watches with batteries. What a forum, I post one of one messages, and someone has the veracity to insult me in the first response. Thanks...go ahead and send your vintage watches to folks that overcharge and make you wait forever to get them back. Ciao.

So you post to pump your own business but are called out for being sub standard, is that about it? A bit counter productive if so.

Which 7 watches have you had serviced? And could you offer some pictures?

Preferably with timegrapher results... anyone can do a 'dunk and swish' and get a watch that seems to run well, doesn't mean it is a healthy watch when they are done.
