Vintage triple dates

Am looking for a moonphase triple date - any knowledge about the non omega options? Seem to be a number of leonidas which look ok, but often worn gold plated. Omega ones are too shabby or beyond my price range. Pierce also look ok. I want one with a face on the moon.

Well that is a tough budget. Pretty much eliminates the highly collected brands, then there is service costs on what you can buy for that. I suppose you might find something in the lesser known brands.

For 1500£ it should not be a problem finding a nice triple date moonphase if looking at lesser known brands.

Make sure you find one with a steel case since the wast majority have cheaper goldplated cases.

If not finding when simply searching for triple date try searching for the movement, for example felsa 693 which is an automatic triple date moonphase found in both known and unknown brands.

The Trematic 602 for example ocasionally comes up for sale in a resonable pricerange, very apealing well built watches with the felsa 693 movement.

Tks hejsam. Y agree 90% are plated so off the menu for me. Looking at felsa and valjoux movements. Is Venus ok as well? Need incabloc!

My knowledge of movements is not good enough to determetine which is better than the other, my suggestion was just a way to broaden your searching and maybe find more options 😀

Good luck with the search, I have had a few triple date moonphases but this is the only one I have left which I really do enjoy 😀
