This came up on my social media posts For Sale. Sorry for the terrible pic
It has two grommet holes on the top, and it has been framed It measures 15.75" (400mm)x11.75"(300mm)
Have any of you seen something like it, or know if it could be an actual vintage sign?
It's not really close to me, but I like it and will to do the drive if it's something you recognised.

There's a huge industry reproducing these "old tin" signs.
They are even "aged" and "patinated", but fresh out of the factory.

This one has an Omega ad from the 1930s and if genuine I would expect it to be vitreous enamel.

Google "vintage tin sign", seems it's a huge business.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I'm aware of the secondary market of deceit, and the reason I've made this post. It's very easy to fall for a fake, I've requested close up photos of it removed from the frame. I'll see if they accomodate me.

Your sign features an advertisement from a well-known series (Le monde élégante porte une Omega) of advertisements. Here are a few other examples from that series:

That appears to be original, given the "patina".

That Patina is commonly duplicated unfortunately. The sign business in India has become increasingly deceptive. Sad but true.

Thank you. Indeed, I have seen this collection in paper/ cardboard form. This one however appears to be a designer piece. 🙁

Can you provide some examples?

Signs like these seem to appear frequently at auctions:
Yes, but those appear to be crude fakes.

This is a huge business and I cannot provide you with Omega Specific examples but here's a link explaining some of the processes. The people making them target the most popular collectibles but use the same process. Here's just an example.
I'm not doubting that it is a big business, but the links that you provided appear to suggest that it isn't terribly difficult to identify the fakes.

The one in your original post is a bit tricky, as it is monotone. But I wonder if such fakers would even bother with that less valuable segment of the market.
