l wouldn’t have thought an independent watchmaker would have such a dial sitting in his parts draw for 40 years but stranger things have happened.

Looking at the dial characteristics it could only be appropriate as a service dial made between 1970-74. I just don’t think Omega were making such a thing.
It would be useful if another example turned up

of course they made those. Lots of step dial non pro aml wide T’s out there. Non pros never got a professional dial. Remember that every 5 years or so once the tritium wore out Omega would have replaced the dial.

Can you show me an example please? In my experience dials are not changed without damage and the Tritium should go for more than 10 years if that is a priority for a customer. Regardless I would very much like to see another wide T dial.

Having had a general look around the web, I can only find very few 105.003 tritium dials assumed to be service dials.

The Soleil dial being one, and another in the same style with standard dial colour.

Both of these have short indices though of the 1970s watches.

The OP dial with its long tritium indices, characteristic of the 1960s appears to be quite unique?
