This one was relumed AND redone ( the black polymer that I don't know the name ... Bakelite ?) and the hands also.
The bezel restoration cost is 280 Euros (not cheap ... But the job is outstanding I guess ...)
Hmmmm...me now wonders if mine were restored too. Does yours glow or was it simply repainted? Any lume shots?

Any macro images would be great. @kox and I poured over my bezel, and concluded that it was original due to the 3d effect of the lume and other elements.

Last fall, @RCAFBuster (Darren) was nice enough to part with this SM300, 165.014-64 with 7912 Bracelet, original bezel and full setup. Below it is a SM300 14755-61recently sourced but not delivered yet with 7912/6, pristine condition and (I hope) original bezel.

165.014 from the Buster

This one is not mine but from a watchmaker that is specialised in bezel restoration in France. About the lume, you can choose if you want it to glow .. A lot or not ...
You will find the complete overhaul here :

Very interesting, and thanks for sharing. I would love to know the restoration process. Amazing how a sympathetic restoration transforms that watch.

Did you ever though about reluming the bezel ? I like yours but I saw such outstanding relumed job on bezel that might be interesting to look at ...
One example ...
Before :

After
Never thought about it honestly. One of the characteristics that I love about this bezel is that brownish/red color it has turned to over the years, and I would never risk loosing that unless the integrity of the bezel was such that it was my only option! The one above appeared to have the same colors before its restoration, and now looks totally different?

Ps: guys kindly please give me an heads up if you know or happens to have a pair of original tritium sword hands for caliber 552. Prefer a dark yellow or dark cream colour without crack.

Many thanks in advanced!
Ben
