Love the 1039. I agree with what has been said before, if it is light and still durable then I would always prefer that! If it was light and had a reputation for falling to pieces then that would be a different story.

People always slated the old Rolex Bracelets too but I have not heard of many issues with them.

For some reason people always think weight signifies strength. If something has been designed correctly it doesnt have to weigh a tonne!

Is there an aftermarket bracelet that looks like that, a man could put on his Watchco? I really like the look but not $1000 worth for one in wearable condition.

I've been wearing my SM300 on the bracelet now for approximately 2 weeks now. I have to say I'm very happy with how this 1039 bracelet feels and looks. It's almost like I'm not even wearing a watch, extremely comfortable and much more durable than I originally thought.
