Well they cannot be, because they typically get loaded up with wrist cheese after a bit. However, it is perfectly allowable to label them as gluten-free.

There's one thing I wonder though. If you bought a lion cub at Harrod's back in the day, did it ever occur to anyone that those things actually grow up? I've seen an adult lion in a zoo and they're pretty awe-inspiring creatures, especially when they roar. I was very happy to be at the other side of the fence and the plexiglas.

Sea Monkeys were a disappointment. They were almost microscopic. Being originally from Michigan my grandparents would go to Florida every winter and return with a baby American alligator for the grandkids. The one major memory is a gator hissing at my dog then latching onto its nose and the dog shaking it’s head on an attempt to rid itself if this strange creature.
It always amuses me how strong emotions arise when elephant straps are mentioned. It is as if we place the importance of sentience of one species over another. Unless one is a vegan and wear plastic shoes I think all other arguments are rather emotionally driven. I must also add that the manufacturing of man made materials are not without harm to the environment.
