Hello,
Happy for insights, compliments and insults for this newly bought watch. And current value would be great!

The case is incredibly sharp, but the dial has been repainted and that hurts the value a lot. The crown is a later replacement.

To a collector, it’s probably not worth more than the sum of its parts. To a non-collector it’s a good looking watch.. so it’s worth what someone will pay for it.

Is this your listing? If so, may be wise to note the dial re paint so you don’t end up with a return on your hands.

The OP is apparently trying to erase all evidence of his watch from this thread, so honesty may not be his highest priority as a seller.

But he forgot this

For record keeping 😀

Update:

He delisted the watch from C24 and sold it in an auction for €720. In the description he did not mention anything about the dial being repainted 🙁

I also encouraged him to be more transparent in his listings when he now clearly knows the dial is repainted (he got the same response on a Swedish watch forum as here). But I did not get any respons from him and ofc no update in the listings regarding the dial either.

So there will likely be an unaware and unsatisfied buyer receiving it, and a seller with bad morale.

But to find some justice in this, the seller bought the watch for 100€ more about a week ago so at least he hopefully is the biggest looser in this affair.

I was watching that auction as well. Glad I saw this thread earlier. The photos provided for the auction were, in my opinion, carefully selected to avoid showing a sharp rendering of the dial text.

I thought so too. Also no side view pics (like seen in this thread) which showed the unattractive matte finishing on the dial. To be honest I was expecting the watch to fetch more than €700. Glad it didn't.

I wrote him during the auction to innocently ask as a potential buyer if the dial was original or repainted (well after people given feedback on here), and he replied:
"Hi, not sure, I lack the competence to assess that, sorry. The case is like new though, the movement looks like new as well and runs great."

So, there goes... Next episode is to have the new owner of the watch posting it here asking for the community thoughts on authenticity
