I'm really new into the watch game and I've been looking around the thrift market to hopefully find something. Cue this seller from threads who's selling a few pair of vintage watches and this Omega Seamaster caught my eye and he was charging a rly good price for it (USD200)
However from the case back images, it doesn't seem very convincing but need a second opinion from the aficionados here because ChatGPT is also drawing a blank. I'm leaning towards fake cuz the caseback is so different from the other vintages online.
There's a 4 digit serial no on the inside that says 3799 other than that I couldn't find any further id
It is a 33mm manual wind Seamaster of unknown date and origin.
