Hi Guys, just after a bit of help please.

I found this watch in my dads draw when he passed in 2018. It has been cleaned up a bit but still needs a professional clean.

I can’t find any other examples of this exact watch on the web. I can find similar but they’re always in stainless steel and this is solid 18k gold.

I’d be really interested to know it’s age and whether this is a common example or something more rare.

Also the winder has detached so needs a professional repair. Would anyone know if this is a big job?

thanks all in advance for your time.

Hi Antony and welcome!

As far as I know this is a common fake and no original Omega watch, sorry!

If you still want it getting serviced please let us know your location.

Hope that helps

thanks, I’ve been doing some internet searching and saw a couple of tell tale signs that it may be fake after posting. It never occurred to me that it may be before as it just seemed so old. I’m gutted to be honest as like I say it was my dads and I wanted to pass it on to my son etc. Are you confident that it’s a fake? I’ve attached another photo of the mechanism. Thanks

100% fake sorry
Thank you. At least I know so I don’t leave it for my sone and he figures it out in 30 years! I’ll get a proper one to pass on. Thanks again
