Hi All, I have inherited my mothers old seamaster 60m lady diver. Its hardly been used but the dial paint is lifting away from the brass dial.. Would anyone have experience of rescuing a watch in this state or will I have to re dial the watch? And if I have to re dial would anyone know a source for a new dial?Thank you in advance

If you can get the case number from inside the case back, I can check to see if Omega still has dials available...

The blue dial is discontinued - Omega says return it to be restored, so they would redial it.

Same with the red dial version...

Thank you for looking, any idea of the cost to have this restored?

No - they don't give a price, so it would have to be quoted when they have the watch.

Omega UK website quotes prices for restoration FROM £2,000 so I will have to find another solution.. Thank you though

I’ve seen a few watches with Omega restored dials pop up in eBay. I didn’t save the exact invoices but I recall the price for a refinish being $1k to $1.5k USD

Dial itself is $900 USD, but that would only be in addition to a full restoration.
