Can anyone help with a value for this , my father has had this since the early 70s , he was a saturation diver and worked for the likes of comex and warton williams, also went on an expedition with Jacques Cousteau .
This is also a good thread/link. https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-ploprof-600-roll-call.19277/ Also post lettering inside clasp, someone here will be able to tell you if bracelet is vintage or new.
I’m no expert but I’ve never seen a 1000m /3000ft dial before. I’m sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon.
There are members who know more about this than me, but one thing that is obvious is that the dial is incorrect. The dial is probably from a Omega Seamaster 1000 (166.093) and likely replaced during service.
dial is def a replacement .... but the most important is the movement number to see if it was also swapped or is still the original one. regarding the history from your dad ... best would be if u can prove it with pictures then it might add some value
