This is going to be a very nice example !
I love the "two tone" dials.

It has been asserted previously that the two tone dial may be the result of age related colour leaching, but I have a catalogue somewhere showing a Ploprof with that dial type.

    I´ll play ;)

My first one, bought from the original owner´s son.
The owner was a scientific scuba diver at NOAA in the 70ties and later worked for the Smithonian.

My second one, accoring to the Extract of records sold in France in the 70ties.

I can be a bit more precise about the production after i looked it up in the Extract. It was produced June 1972, serial number starts with 31988...

Another Closeup of the MK I dial Ploprof, i really like the distressed dial, it looks like a piece of old leather ;)

Stunning ! I see that the Ploprof is an addictive watch !

    Here are my ex watches:

    - a mk1, it was my first Ploprof.

I have traded it for a Rolex some years ago with a good friend

    pp2.jpg

    - Then I got this nice mk3, that I kept for about a year

    - and then I was lucky enough to buy this first owner mk3 with great provenance

    Nice collections of mk1's !

I love the tropic sport on the second picture; I have a black one.

Did you ask for the Omega extracts ?

Do you know where your watches were sold ?

I only have one (I won't count the two 1000m) but it came straight from Marseille with the original bracelet, mesh, two isofrane and the Comex Divers Extension - referred to by Omega as “the offshore bracelet for waterproof watches“

Nice one, but the rubber strap in front is no vintage Isofrane, its the modern Omega replacement strap. Stiff as hell, had one too
