VINTAGE OMEGAs - from grandpa. Not knowing the value

Hi everyone,

I recently inherited two Omega watches from my grandfather, but I don’t know much about them or their value. I was wondering if anyone here could help me identify the models and get an idea of what they might be worth.

I’ve attached some photos to give you a better look. Both watches seem to be in decent condition, but I’m unsure if they have all-original parts or if any work has been done on them.

Any insights about their history, rarity and mostly about approximate value would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

It's unusual to get watches like this from grandpa, heavily restored and prepped for sale. They have a bit of value, but not to collectors. Throw them on eBay and see how you do.

There are two levels of "estimates".
The first is an estimate for insurance. That's usually two to three times the value of the watch and is only for insurance/replacement purposes.

The second is the actual realisable value. This can only be determined for searching sales websites for previous sales which will help establish an approximate value. This will also be affected by location, prices will vary widely from country to country.

The internet is your source of values.

How interesting. Wonder what grandpa thinks as he's looking down at "his watches".
Some people don't know other people is smarter than them.

Well, Filip,

I think you’ve been rumbled.

I doubt that anyone here actually believes that you have a brother who posted the watches without your knowledge or that your grandfather previously owned them.

What’s the first law of holes again?
The instinctive response we have seen lately is to keep digging.
