Vintage Omega with "Zodiac" dial?

Can anybody please tell me if that is an original dial, and if the watch is a conversion.

I tried to find it out online and there are only a few similar but monochromatic, claiming the watches are from 1920's or 30's which might be true (but were they pocket watches back then?) still I'm not convinced these are period dials.
