·Hi there! 😀
For sale is a very nice Omega Suverän from 1944 with a quite uncommon two-tone dial with roman numerals and blued steel hands.
The quality of the photos is not the best, and certainly doesn't do the watch justice. But I hope they can suffice.
Case: The case is in a great condition, considering its age. As far as I can tell, the case appears unpolished and with its original facets.
It measures 35,5 mm without the crown and 42 mm lug-to-lug.
Crown: An original and unmarked "bowler hat" style crown, which is correct for a Omega Suverän.
Caseback: Screw down caseback in good condition with the swedish Suverän engraving: ANTIMAGNETISK – VATTENTAT – STÖTSKYDDAD" meaning: antimagnetic, waterproof and shockproof.
It has ref. 2400-2 engraved on the inner caseback.
Movement: A 30T2 PC movement in excellent condition. The service history is unknown but is keeps time very well. The 10.1 mil serial dates is to 1944.
Dial: An original, unrestored and extremely attractive two-tone dial with roman numeral with a lovely cream color that changes accordingly with the light. The patina is in my opinion unique and what really makes this watch special. The radium is still fully present on the markers.
Hands: Original blued steel hands that really pops. They are in very good condition with all the radium still present
Crystal: Unsigned crystal in very good condition with no scratches.
I am asking 900 euros for this piece, excluding postage and fees. The watch located in Denmark (EU).
Payment through bankwire or a personal pick-up. Payment through Paypal Friends and Family are possible if you are a established member of OF with references.
No returns unless the watch is grossly misrepresented.
