I am hereby selling a ref. 2400-1 Omega Suverän.
Most here will know of the Suverän story, it being a Swedish market only model with three different caseback types marking it as such, originally sold cheaply to the Swedish government so they could sell it to the public and help the economy going.
The movement is an manual wind cal. 30-T2. I have not have had the watch serviced, but have not noticed any apparent faults. Power reserve is good.
The 35mm steel case has some light wear, but no major marks. The crown is a generic replacement that is a good match for the original, unmarked item. The lug width is 18mm and it is shipped on a very cool vintage strech oyster band or a NOS brown leather strap that compliments it very nicely.
When I got the watch the dial lume was really mouldy and the hands had been relumed in a fetching green tone. I sent it to James Hyman and he worked wonders on it. The seconds hand is an incorrect replacement. The black dial has aged nicely - some aging is apparent and there is a small spot on the seconds subdial which has a slightly different hue. I have tried to get the camera to pick it up on the following photo.
(note that the white mark on the subdial on some of the photos is a scratch on the crystal; after I took the photos and saw it shown there I polished it out)
I am asking €740/790 for this good-looking WW2 watch, on either strap or bracelet respectively, tracked shipping included. Payment via bank transfer/transferwise heavily preferred. The watch and I are located in Denmark, EU. I will be happy to take returns within a week of delivery, should it dissapoint.
