For sale my lovely Suverän ref. 2400-4 with cal. 30T2 inside. I call it 'collectors grade' as it was found by me in 'barn find' condition, and I only slightly polished the crystal with Polywatch. The watch is fully original, including crystal and crown. The radium is all there. The 'as found' pictures of the original listing will be included in the sale. Truly a honest example, difficult to come by these days. The matte black gilt versions are considered the most desirable Suverän variant.

Omega Suverän ref. 2400-4
35mm excluding crown, 18mm lugsize
1944 serial number
The watch is sold head only
Shipping happens BOMB-PROOF (box in box) and through UPS/DHL express
The watch is located in Belgium (EU)
Omega 30T2
Asking price: 1750 euro net to me

Case, caseback, crystal and crown
Full stainless steel case, unpolished, in very nice shape with sharp lines and some radial top brushing still nicely visible on the lugs. The unsigned crown is the original one. The crystal as well, it was slightly polished by me upon arrival of the watch. Good screw caseback with clearly visible engravings.

Hands and dial
Stunning matte black gilt dial with orange colored radium. The dial is in beautiful condition, no scratches or similar blemishes. The slightly corroded hands are wonderful and the radium shows the same ageing as on the dial. Note that there is a very slight crack in the radium in the hour hand - it is very small and has been perfectly stable in my possession but might be good to have it stabilized when the watch receives future service.

Caliber and service
The 30T2 caliber runs structurally sound, and I did not notice huge daily deviations while on the wrist. The service history is unknown to me. Winding goes very smoothly. For daily use, I would advise to have the watch serviced anyway.

Returns are of course allowed if I misrepresented the watch or the condition.

The only thing more shocking than the value of wonderful Suveran's to the generation of us old enough to buy one new ....is the value these will be to the generations that are coming!
A great piece of history.
My compliments to both parties.
