Hello OF! I really like the looks of the vintage Omega Seamaster 30. How does this example look? Is it possible that the dial is too perfect and it could be redial? Thanks!

Dial looks great and original. These and the 600’s tend to fare better than most, so it’s not uncommon to see these this clean.
Case looks nice and sharp, facets are all still there. I would want to see a picture of the inside of the case back to verify the reference number. The 600’s have a flat back as they are manual wind (I have one so I only know that one) so I don’t know if the bulbous back is correct on a manual 30 like this or not- hence wanting to see the ref #

And- it all comes down to price. At $500 +\- this would be a nice watch. At $1.5k, pass.

Honest example - ref. is correct.

Owned the same some years ago - just check the crown if it is singend (but the style looks correct)

I wondered a few times why the manual wind 30’s with the 30mm movements always has a bulbous case back normally associated with an automatic.

Those 30mm handwinding movements are thicker (5,1mm height) compared to the hanwinding 600 movements. (3,35mm height)
