Vintage Omega Jumbo: ID and Collector Advice Help

Need some insight on this Jumbo I aquired .
I will try to provide a serial number to date it and a ref number (I think it’s a 2181?) tomorrow as iam having a heck of a time getting the back off.
So the usual obvious questions about the dial etc.
Whatever you can tell me would be greatly appreciated .
First thing is there is no Swiss Made at the 6,but I have seen a very similar jumbo without one somewhere on the net claiming it was original so…
The crystal has no etched logo but I think this is a pre 1950?
Again will confirm date with serial once I get the back off hopefully tomorrow .

Pics of ref and movement added .
Man that pop case back was a real doozy to get off.
So the serial puts it at 1947 so is crystal okay without the logo.
Movement is 30t2 P.C.
So what do you guys think

The fact that the snailing has been preserved is a good sign; and, if I squint, I think I can just about make out the remnants of what might have been text at the bottom of the dial, which may have just eroded away over time.

I think it's a nice original watch showing its age, it is after all, nearly 80 years old.
Be aware that water resistance will be zero, so treat it appropriately.

I think I can too, only way to be sure is when the movement is uncased, but unless it's due for a service I wouldn't bother with that.

Well, I'd say that it's likely original - just worn and weathered. And it seems @JimInOz agrees. But perhaps other voices will chime in
