Dear Brains Trust,
I am attempting to value a friends collection, and he sent me this photo.
Does anyone know which model it is/ years available, hidden crown?
Thanks,
Buster

Looks 1980s. Prob an ETA quartz movement. The case style is quirky but I doubt there is much value there, unless it’s solid gold of course. If it’s manual wind it’ll be more interesting and more valuable than melt but I suspect it uses a quartz movement despite that lack of marks. A shot of the caseback may give more clues towards identification of metal and movement. Is it a hidden crown or is it missing I wonder?

I think more pictures here will give you more accurate description. I know that are experts here who can give very good information only from a picture but definitely more pictures will help 😀

Thanks for your input gents.
I received a caseback photo and googled the model number 1365.
It appears to be a 'Crownless' DeVille line quartz. You can use a toothpick or similar to poke into the crown area recess to advance the hands.
More of a novelty in my mind.
Cheers,
Buster
