Vintage Manual Winding Omega: Identification Help

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to vintage watches and I would need some help with a piece I'm considering purchasing, in particular identifying both its originality and estimated value.

So, according to the seller this is a piece from 1958 with ref. 2750-5, a so called "Jumbo". However when looking at the mechanism, it's a caliber 269, which was introduced in the 60s, and according to the serial number this watch should be specifically from 1963. My guess is that the case is a replacement, but I could be wrong.

Another thing that bugs me is the fact that, despite doing extensive research, I haven't been able to find another dial that looks like this one, specifically the style of the faceted batons and the 3/9/12 markers. Could we be looking at a heavily modified/refinished dial then? I really couldn't find a model matching this one.

Finally, the seller is asking for 1300€, which I feel is too high (especially given the lack of service history and the non-signed, replacement crown). I would think a fairer price is in the 900-1000€ range.

And that's pretty much it. Do you think this watch is worth buying? Any thoughts and feedback are much appreciated!

Don't buy it unless the seller did a mistake and the price is 130€.
