Oh, boy. 18k stamp on a steel case back sure isn’t a good sign regarding the material. It certainly doesn’t have anything to do with Omega, unfortunately...

Remember: Don`t kill the messenger of bad news: Completely fake.
It`s such a famous standard fake of that time that it has it`s own name in Europe as "Autobahngold" means highwaygold 😉
Because it was mostly sold from persons of questionable profession on rest-stops near the highway leading to holiday hot spots of that era mainly Spain and Italy.

I think it's real 😉

the winking emoji suggests he is being sarcastic.

Certainly looks real gold...

that was how they fooled the people who bought them.

if it were real gold, even a small watch would be really, noticeably heavy

I’m really sorry @Pantonegolds32
I know you want it to be real but it simply isn’t.
Omega didn’t put this script on the back of their watches.
The fakers did this to entrap the punters they were conning.
If you have a young niece, give it to her for her dressing up box - or take a hammer to it, which ever you prefer.

Gold buyers can test the band....

If you think it's real gold, go to a shop where they can test gold and buy gold. 99% sure they won't offer you much for this one.
