Vintage Longines 9999 cal 30L

Classic Longines dress watch, jumbo sized for the era (1961 according to S/N). Shows beautifully on the wrist and hides easily under shirt sleeves. Nice piece for going back to the office (yeah, when is that going to happen…?!) or as a watch for those special occasions. I am thinning the collection, as I am chasing a rare grail.

Manufacturer: Longines
Model: Dress watch, Model reference 9999-6 on the dial. Dates to early 1961 (S/N 11.9 million)
Case: 36 mm wide steel round, with 18 mm lugs. Snap off sterile case back. Very few scratches, but I point out one on the top right lug. Flat narrow steel bezel.
Movement: Classic calibre 30L, manual wind, 17 jewels
Dial: White dial, gold markers and dauphine hands, applied Longines wings logo, sub-seconds, full minutes track
Complication: small seconds dial
Crown: original signed; difficult to get a clear pic due to the reflections.
Crystal: Acrylic, no visible scratches
Strap: Comes with the Keleran black calf leather pictured
Service: Unknown history, no problems during my nearly 6 years of ownership
Miscellaneous: No box or papers

Price: These are not easy to find in this condition.
