Hi all, For sale is a stainless steel IWC cal 853 from 1960. For those familiar with IWC, the look of this watch is very similar to Ingenieurs of the time with the large bar markers. The case is 35mm without crown and appears unpolished. The original brushing on the side of the case remains in excellent condition. The silver sunburst dial is also nearly flawless. There is a small mark on the dial near the "I" in International and a few small speckles near the 9 oclock marker, but that is all I can see with the naked eye at certain angles. The dial is really stunning in outdoor light. I was able to get a video uploaded in HD finally - link below. I believe the crystal and and unsigned crown to be original to watch. The caseback retains original brushing. The cal 853 movement appears clean but has not been serviced by me. The watch will be sold head only, as I am running out of 18mm straps Video: The last cal 853 to sell on this forum was listed at 1500 euro and was sold rather quickly, so I am asking $1500 which will include shipping in the USA. International shipping will be at cost (I recommend FedEx or UPS given recent poor performance of government mail services). Returns accepted only if the watch is not as described. I have many references in the Seller Profile section of this forum. Thank you for looking and OF for the space!
