Hi All!

New to the vintage/collectible watch game but have been following Seamaster's for a while. What do we think of this listing? Is anything concerning?



Thank you for your help! With my limited knowledge, the pictures don't give me much of a cause for concern but it seems like a pretty good deal?

It seems the case has a lot of wear. The thin gold plating is gone in many areas.

You can find something similarly priced with less wear on the dial.

Watch is probably plated, and in a sample so much used the plating will probably be gone in the corners .... and that bracelet should go straight to the bin

Is the bezel missing? Crown looks weird, too. At any rate, this is one of the ugliest watches I've ever seen. Looks like something you'd regret buying.

You can find something similarly priced with less wear on the dial.

I can't see any wear on the dial at all but I can see a heavily worn case and a cracked crystal.

I was concerned about the 0 feedback seller - definitely a red flag and wouldn't risk more than $20 on an ebay seller like that!

And the watch in "Overall very good condition with moderate wear" is sold for $450. New buyer will have a lot of work to do on this.
