I purchased this constellation recently with no band. And I’m trying to find one…. I know it originally came with a leather band.

But I really want a jubilee or preferably mesh.

if anyone can help please.

Attached will be 2 additional photos. One of a band I’m interested in, if someone who is knowledgeable can tell me if it will work.

and the 2nd photo is of a 19mm faux band I purchased, the end links were too big. Or wrong style for this watch. And wouldn’t fit. So I flipped them around… to make it fit. just because I wanted a band on it.

HEAD UNIT

BAND IM INTERESTED IN

FAUX BAND 19mm I had to flip around

@kaplan is a good resource to ask about this. He is a C-shape Connie expert and collector, as well as a strap guru!

The standard bracelet for a C-case is the 1040 bracelet with 518 end links. They really look good and are light and comfortable.

Mine came on a 2039 Milanese style bracelet when I bought it which looks pretty good too. That could be an option for you if you can find a gold plated one.

I want that Milanese. But I cannot find it in gold.

are the 518 end links the only end links for c case?

also I found a 20mm mesh band. Could this theoretically work? My legs are 19mm.

I feel like I’ve seen them in gold. That’s going to be something you just gotta setup eBay alerts and keep an eye out here and be patient for one to pop up.

I think I’ve seen other end links on C-cases but not sure on the reference numbers.

I don’t know about that 20mm band. I suppose you could maybe file half a millimeter off each side but it would probably look wonky. That depends on what’s on the end though, there may be nothing to file.

If you can stand the gap you could maybe just use a 18mm until you can land the 2039.

Congrats on the purchase, I've recently seen it on eBay sold listings and it was a good price, a bit sad that you don't update your threads to celebrate your victories though

The 2039 milanese doesn't exist gold coated, however the 2058 milanese exists in gold filled form, they are always oxidixed though

C-Case's are often paired with the 2058 milanese but I don't know whether it was a factory combination or an AD option back in the day, likely the latter

Yeh a lot of the gold bands I saw were either solid and very expensive.

or played/filled and very oxidized and tarnished.

I ended up purchasing this band. It’s a 20mm. And I’m hoping I can either have a watchmaker or myself file it.
