Hi, I just found this piece and I am wondering if you can help me with the value and the model. I can't figure out what's written under the automatique under the logo.
Also what would be a good resale price and if i should invest in refurbishing it.
Any insight is much appreciated !

Poor watch. You should invest in some finger cots, or at least some cheap latex or nitrial gloves. Taking a watch apart like that can lead to all sorts of issues down the road.

If you buy it strongly consider getting the movement broken down and fully cleaned. Not much you can do about the oils from the fingertips that got on the dial; that often leads to discoloration.

Can't tell what the text is either. Can you ask the seller to move the hands? I am guessing it could be the mark of a jewelry store/ retail store. Frankly I would not worry about asking as I would not want to buy from that seller. If they handled the movement and dial with their fingers who knows what else they have done that is hazardous to the watch.

Why don’t you go ahead and flip it and tell us how it goes. It will be a good lesson and fun to follow. 🍿

I believe it says Globemaster, but could be wrong. Could be an American market Globemaster.

ooooh, I like that dial!

I don't like the way the "6" is cut off with no sub-dial. Just looks very weird to me.

Edit: Found another similar example, but I still think it's ugly. 😁

Also it’s a radium dial so be careful stripping that down on your kitchen table.

The serial number is visible in your photo of the movement. Try a little research.
