I really like the look of these watches and someone I know actually has one for sale. It’s in very decent shape and he is asking a fair price. I got this thing though, I think it’s bad ju-ju or mojo or whatever to wear stuff with 666 on it. I’m not like a crazy religious guy but I worked in jails for a while and seeing all the 666 tattoos and graffiti I don’t know it’s like a bad vibe, maybe I should get the 333 and stick to snorkeling

I recently pulled out my grandfather's old gold Bulova 218 Accutron dress watch and as I replaced the battery I felt bad that it just sits in it's box (too small for my liking). Around the same time I stumbled across this Devil Diver thread and saw all these really nice, classic diving watches with the red/black "Coke" bezels. So in honor of the man whos lap I would sit on as a kid and listen to his watch humm.... I've picked up a similar tuning fork movement but in the bigger, chunkier version.

And here she is.... a few character adding bumps on the bezel but it didn't break the bank & I'm amazed as to how accurate it is! Overall, really pleased to now have a wrist-worthy Bulova in my collection. Cheers Grandad!!

Oh, and then by way of some tipsy ebay bidding I'm also the owner of this automatic day/date Snorkel that I get the pleasure of taking apart & bringing back to life......

awesome watch, i own the same model. they look good on the wrist try maybe getting a vintage SWISS TROPIC MOD DEP diver band or even a nato/zulu strap for her ... just for a change of pace once in a while
