I like it. I’m a sucker for black watches.

Not bad, but prefer the Japan 'Lupin' edition and the MrPorter 'Edge of Space' edition.

Zenith are really knocking out some fantastic smaller pieces of late between this, the A384 and the cover girl.

My only gripe with the shadow, is the absence of a bracket given the price point. Knock £500 off the price and I might consider it.

I appreciate they are trying something different but I don't like it, and I think it has serious legibility issues

It is a very interesting edition based on A384/A385/A3817/A3818 vintage case ... this one is attractive because titanium case, sanded texture, no date, no minutes scale ... I like it, but considering my next zenith... probably this will not be the one

Awesome! This is the coolest one of the a384-style zenith revivals in my opinion.

Reminds me of the 70’s PVD chronograph with cal 146HP.

It's the best Jerry, the BEST! Now the question comes down to this Zenith or Omega's original Dark Side of The Moon?

I thought I would love the Speedy DSOTM (and admittedly it looks awesome in pictures), but its too bulky for my taste. So I'd go Zenith.... On the other hand, if we are talking the Speedy Apollo 8 in ceramic, I think that one takes the cake for blackouts.

This Shadow is not very thin either. It's not as thick as the DSOTM but for it's 37mm size, and from the photos, you can see that it's a bit chunky. The Speedy Apollo 8 in ceramic is not as nice looking to me as the DSOTM due to the busy face but it's thin because it's a manual wind. I hate manual winds.

Hate? Such a strong word! I think the only way to resolve this is for you to go to the AD and post a wrist pic of both the DSOTM and the Zenith to see which looks better for your wrist. Let the People Decide!

Here's the DSOTM. It doesn't look half bad on my 6.5" wrist. Not sure when we'll be able to see the Shadow at a store.

I mean yeah it looks killer on you. If it feels good then you can’t go wrong with it. I’d still be curious to see the size of the zenith. Have you tried on the other models?

I love everything about the Shadow - manual wind, no-date, novel finish on the titanium case. But the dial is missing minute markers, so it's just not the one for me. So close!

Now if only they did this to it...

...I would be all over it...
(Yes, I realize ‘illegibility’, but frankly watches are a redundancy, so looks are king)
