Hi all,

We thought it would be nice to do a little hands-on video of my new Speedmaster Calibre 321 in steel. Here you go! Enjoy!

"I am lucky to have received it so quickly."

I wonder why....

What’s your point? It is not that I asked to be the first, I just got a call that it was ready. And apparently one of the first. I had to wait much longer for previous models I ordered.

I think they should have made some pics or videos instead of the images they used during introduction.

You received it on Speedy Tuesday! 😎

Also, if the Omega box is on its way, how was the new 321 presented to you? Was it unpackaged or was it in some type of Omega packaging?

Great video review, sir...thanks for posting it. 👍

Agreed. The only 'live' pics I have seen are from that watchmaker who built one up using all parts but with a vintage 321 movement...but in the video one gets a more 'real' feel. Do I see correctly : the lume 'wells' are like the SpeedyTuesday2 dial ... being recessed through the step?

it was in the box in the Omega boutique. So I had to take it out, the boutique guys took out some links and was ready to go. The box arrived at my home after we did the video.

I think it is indeed a similar construction.

I’m sorry, but I don’t see how these things are necessarily mutually exclusive.

Let’s say for the moment there was preferential treatment (even if there weren’t) for someone that puts a lot of work and effort in the Speedmaster realm. First, I wouldn’t begrudge them getting it before me - that’s how the world works. Second, could one get special treatment and still feel fortunate? Why not?

Don’t worry mate, for all you have done for Speedy Tuesday besides your two great watches I don’t begrudge you in any way for being one of the early ones to receive one.
Congrats and thanks for the video.

Minute recorder works like a charm.

Good video and thanks for putting it together, it's a show pony for the 321 for sure and the bracelet looks incredible, I have the original so was excited about this when it was announced and I went on the list the day they press released it.

But I'm not sure I would take up the purchase now if I get THE call, its a lot of money in this current world situation and if you get buyers remorse you may come unstuck and have to move it on at a loss 😕

Thanks RJ for the nice video review. For similar price I would take this over an SP101 "Good" EW, especially when I don't have William's knowledge and skills in assessing vintage Speedmasters -

Just to clarify...was it in the large Omega box at the OB or was it in the sealed, smaller Omega cocoon at the OB?

I am not even sure you can find a good 105.003 these days for 13.3K Euro.

The watch and box come seperately in the boutique, but the watch was presented to me in the large box. They prepared it for me, so to speak.

Copy all, sir. 👍

Also, before you store the large Omega box away in your attic and since you’re an Omega big box rookie, I would highly encourage you to do the “cell phone camera inside the large Omega box with the lid fully closed” trick.

OPERATIONAL TIPS: Place the cell phone camera in the large accessory bin with the camera timer and flash engaged, mash the go button, fully close the lid...and BOOM...you’ve got a pic from inside the large Omega box. 😁
