Nice, but too sporty for me with the rubber
Agreed on this point. I’m always a bracelet guy, but I do like the look of the reverse panda on strap

looked like a great event.

"....we selected Hong Kong as our first destination for this year."

Hopefully a ST event is being planned in the US later this year....👍😎

Picked it up today. More upmarket and shiny than regular speedy. Not a tool watch but very pretty!

Tried on in person in the boutique the other day, much better in the metal the black dial is gorgeous, think it will be successful for the mass market, I think for collectors we will still prefer the ST1 its just a better watch imo, and I wish that omega had put the new reverse panda with a solidcase back

How’s the milky ring on these? From the photos I’ve seen so far, the crystal seems to have less of the milky ring effect than the OG Sapphire Sandwich.

If by OG you mean the regular 3861 sapphire, i think they're the same. Different from the 1861 models.

Honestly, the 1861 was milky. But I believe they got that fixed on the new 3861 models. I own several and I have no problems on how they look with the sapphire crystal, no milky ring on them.

I got the black and the white 3861 sapphire sandwiches......the black dial has the milky ring.....the white dial does not, but it is a white dial so.....maybe somebody will chime in by comparing their black dial 3861 with the new reversa panda reference....

Visited my AD today in the UAE and had already arranged to pick up both references.....discount provided for purchasing both was a respectable 17% plus about a 4% tax refund....seems I got a little lucky as the sales rep showed me an email he received today notifying the staff to cease providing discounts on these models plus he mentioned they are expecting a price increase on March 1st....

Both watches are visually stunning, but the gold is a little more special and I think the dial really suits the gold reference that little bit more, plus loved the weight of the watch....steel will make a wonderful daily, that dial is so rich and deep....

Lots of nice gifts including an Olympic pin set, pouch, bracelet, Omega gloves/cloth and as Valentines is approaching some flowers and chocolates for the wife....

All in all a wonderful experience 👍

I have the 3861 Sapphire Sandwich. Is it possible to replace the aluminum bezel with the new ceramic that is on the reverse panda?

Since it wasn’t officially sold in this configuration, Omega won’t replace it, but there are aftermarket available.
