This isn't a Constellation but it's a gold Cal 562 Seamaster I have from 1966. One of my favourites. When buying vintage watches patience is a virtue and time spent learning is a better investment than rushing in and buying the wrong watch. In my opinion it's also far better to own one or two excellent original pieces than a dozen rough ones .

again -lovely watch
-and I know what you are saying about not rushing into things -but sometimes you just need to jump in with both feet.
Unless my watch is an absolute basket case I can't be anything other than delighted with actually owning a Constellation.
(I haven't stopped grinning since I Ianded it yesterday)
The patient hunt for the 'perfect' watch will come now that I've scratched the itch.

yeah -but there are constellations -and then there are constellations like the one that you just bought.
and then add in papers, original strap, buckle, box -all out there somewhere -if you have the patience (and deep enough pockets....)
