Very Amateur Omega Enthusiast seeks Constellation Opinion

Evening to all. I have followed this forum for a number of years and throughly appreciate all of the sound advice that you willingly share. If I might indulge; I have been in pursuit of a 1958 to 60 yellow18K Constellation for many years. Just like many of you all I'm sure!

I have come across this offering. Based on everything I have read, learned through the Forum, this appears to be a nice watch, but honestly I would greatly appreciate your opinion. It is very pricey. Asking price is $7000.

I would be most grateful for your advice and insight. Thank you!

I like everything about it but the price! This watch has been extensively “deluxed”. It would be easier to make a judgement as to its private history had we been able to see it before a thorough polish job. The case might scrap out at about $1,000, so a better price for the watch (IMHO) would be a LOT less than $7,000!

My advice is to take your time to learn the market before you pull the trigger and buy. It’s always easier to buy than sell. You could always make the seller an offer but the price is high.

At that price you find much better specimens, even NOS if you are lucky

There better be another watch not pictured and included in the ad for that price...😲
