The final part of the consolidation trilogy - it’s time to put my precious VC up on the block.... This is the Vacheron Constantin Malte Grande Classique, ref 81000. The case is a 36.2mm white gold case, with lovely stepped lugs. Behind the display back is a cal 1400, which is a movement carrying the prestigious Geneva seal. The watch comes with the original VC alligator strap plus the VC WG ‘Maltese Cross” buckle. The highlight of the watch is the amazing engine-turned guilloche dial. Later versions came with the ‘straight’ guilloche pattern (see https://forums.watchuseek.com/f381/landed-vc-malte-grande-classique-81000-a-1047336.html). However, mine is the earlier version with the spiral guilloche, which I feel is much nicer and more elegant. The way the guilloche catches the light and sparkles is amazing, and very hard to capture in pictures. The watch comes with white outer box, navy inner box, actual watch box, polishing cloth, manual, the warranty paper, and even the Geneva Seal certificate. It was last serviced June 2014. I’m selling this as part of a consolidation. The watch was worn sparingly as part of a collection of >50 watches, so only worn a few times a year. I spent 1.5y looking for this rare watch, so it is painful to let it go, but I have to consolidate. VC doesn't do this style of guilloche any more for their regular models, they only do it for LE Patrimony Traditionelles; such a pre-owned LE will cost double this watch This is a beautiful and elegant dress watch with vintage cues, from one of the 'holy trinity' of horology, so grab this rare one while you can! I've bought and sold here on OF, with prior feedback here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/nt931-is-a-reliable-seller.53592/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/nt931-is-a-great-seller.49135/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/nt931-great-buyer.36164/ Selling this for USD9750 / SGD13200. Payment via bank wire please. I will ship via Parcelpro, which costs about roughly USD130. Shipping will be paid for by buyer. I may ask for references as this is a VC, I hope you don't mind! No returns unless grossly misrepresented. Thank you! *edited 20 Jan to include photo of VC WG buckle
If I was looking for a "dress-up" watch, this beauty would be gone. This VC inhouse Cal. 1400 manual movement is as good as it gets. GLWS!
One of the most eye-pleasing designs in a dial that I have ever seen. Let me see, what can I sell to afford this? GLWS!!
This is beautiful and I'm convinced it would fit my wrist beautifully. I would simply need to seel all my watches and a bit more to afford it. Best of luck with the sale!!!
