·Hi, I am thinking about buying a Omega Constellation black dial 168.005 with 561 caliber. The watch was serviced and tuned up two years ago. The seller has shared a number of photos and a video. He asks for 1950$ / 1800€. Is that a fair price?
Here are some additional details the seller shared:
Condition and Authenticity: The markers and hands have not been altered. The plexiglass was replaced with a new piece, which is likely not original to Omega since it lacks the engraving in the center (though some original plexiglass models also lack this engraving). The markers are not lumed. This is correct for this specific Constellation model, as it doesn’t have lume, unlike other models like the perpetual calendar that do. The crown is original. The case is in very good condition, with no indication of polishing, as the characteristic eight stars on the Constellation caseback remain sharp and well-defined. he quick date change function works perfectly.
Additional Details: Watches that come with lume have two "T"s in the corners of the "Swiss Made" engraving to indicate tritium lume, but this model does not (but apparently some models back then didn't have that). T
