Anyone have ideas on value for 18mm Bonklip ? I know they are quite hard to find in the larger sizes (over 16mm), but I've asked around quite a bit and the only response I got so far was around $300.

Would appreciate any feedback before I put it up for sale, just didn't have any idea on fair market value.....

thx

You should keep it; those are very rare, you will never find another like it.

thanks. I was thinking to use it on my Aero Compax 22290, but it would require filing down the bracelet ends about .5mm and I just can't bring myself to do it so far. I haven't had any 18mm lug watches to use it on otherwise, so it's just been languishing in a drawer, which seems a shame.

I bought one from a kind member here for $200. Sure you can get a few more bucks on eBay but pass it along to a fellow member and you will make a friend for life.

Especially considering 10% eBay fees, those valuations are pretty close.

And don't forget PayPal fees, and the BS of refunds or scammers, etc. Whenever someone asks me about selling in eBay, I often tell them that unless they are prepared to deal with the BS and fees, it's not worth trying to make a couple extra bucks

I bought two for $125 recently (each)
And that is so kind of you, I would love to have one for that. 😉

Definitely keep it, rare and great, comfortable strap. One day you will have a watch and wish you had the strap!

There is a Bonklip with 17.5mm end pieces for sale (very reasonable price imo, not associated with me) on MWR that would fit your Aero Compax if you are keen to try one on it. It was common/normal to file the end pieces down on these to fit lug width.

Congrats Dan S, looks really great.
