800-1000 what exactly😉 ? Because 800eur for this, just no. It is worth half that for me at best(roughly, 10 grams translate to 300eur for 18k) with a dial looking like this. The movement is likely full of surprises and moisture too. Omega cases are regularly 10 to 15 grams, but YMMV.

Also, beware, omega did 80microns cases that are very resistant and can be mistaken for full gold cases at a glance!

So give him a value to you then.

€300 euro I would buy 18k gold beat up Omegas all day long.

The fat lug cases are pretty chunky I have a solid 18K 2846. The caseback alone weighs over 8g so some of the case weight estimates here are a little low IMO. That may be a 2848 or possibly a press on back bumper, though I'm not aware of a small second version of the 2767 off the top of my head.

To the OP. You are not welcome to sell that here. Go to ebay and it will find its true value, but you will have to do some work yourself to figure out exactly what you have. Taking the back off would be a good start. It might not even be solid gold in which case the value isn't huge.

The dial looks very much like a 2576 cal 344 that I used to own, but that ref has a screw down case back. Opening it will clear the question up. As for value for me the only value would be as scrap and if I needed the movement/parts/hands etc. The dial is too far gone and the case, if solid gold, is way too polished.

I just did, but it depends on the actual gold weight: in this watch there is not that much that is worth anything, except gold. I did buy a few gold watches (JLC, Omega, no name) with good dials and not overpolished cases this year, it was scrap value (18k gold weight in g x30) + 50-100eur depending on the quality of dial and movement. Here, it is scrap value, period, as @cristos71 said also. Not rare, not even pretty.
