·The 10.5 ligne valjoux 69 is an interesting movement to me and seems a mostly undocumented history. The caliber powered what are known widely as 'petite' or 'baby' chronographs, and I believe it was the smallest chronograph produced. I've owned one before (Gallet Officer), and I have just traded a friend for another (Minerva).
Less than 4k are said to have been produced and these seem to have been spread widely across manufacturers including the aforementioned Gallet and Minerva, along with Rolex, Universal Genève, Eterna, Heuer, Mathey Tissot, Jules Jurgenson, and I'm sure more.
This is the best reference I've been able to find: https://www.google.com/amp/s/reference.grail-watch.com/movement/valjoux-69/amp/
Anyone have any more complete information, advertisements, etc?
