I recently acquired a nice Jardur most likely from the late 30s or early 40s with a Valjoux 22 movement.
It has a very unusual dial in white with tele- and tacho-/tachymeter scale (Jardur/Prilgrim served US market so it's in miles) marked "swiss made" at the bottom divided by the "120" tachymeter scale.

There is no reference or serial number engraved in the caseback. Only a manually added number beginning with 34 inside the caseback (what could be a 5 digit serial or stock number).
Case is waterproof, in 38mm and is similar to early Bovet and Vetta ermetico with a stepped bezel and fat pushers:

No information on this watch was given other than it was coming from a Japan.
So I did some research but still have some questions.

I found the pre-previous owner of the watch and I got the information it was originally coming to him from South America

The watch has "pilgrim electric corp" on the bridge and also the correct import stamp "IXK" standing for imported by Pilgrim Electric / Jardur.

The lettering on the dial is the "early open logo" used in first version of the better known "Bezelmeter " Jardur ref 960:

Production for these seem to have started around 1941.

But I also have found a forum post stating these watches were produced from 1937 until 1945 (can't find the link) - but not sure on this.

I only found one similar watch from Jardur with that same dial and Valjoux 22 stating reference should be 8xx:

Assuming 2 subdial is 8xx series and 9xx 3 subdial series.

And also found another Jardur with the similar dial style (which seems to be a non standard dial as indicated in the last advertising posted at the end of this thread) but with 3 subdials for Valjoux 71 - so it looks like ref 955 with optional dial:

Here indicating further "shock-protected" on the dial.
Watch seem to be sold +- 1940 as this year is inscripted outside on the caseback with letters "A.F.W.":

Sadly I could not find any further information on Valjoux 22 and waterproof cases used for Jardur watches.

Would be very happy if some of the more knowledgeable members regarding Jardur could add up here.

In general I am looking for the reference number of this watch and more informations on this watch.
An advertisement of the exact same watch would be perfect.

Similar to the ones I have found online for:

975

995 & 850

950 (shockproof) - 960 (shockproof, waterproof & dustproof) & maybe 815 - bad quality but great advertising assuming from 1941 - indicated down left on the paper:

Interesting to see here, that the "Bezelmeter" #950 could be ordered exactly the same but without the famous Bezel - then the suffix/ ref # at the end is changing to a "5" from "0" e.g. #950 with Bezelmeter and #955 "with exception that the Bezelmeter is excluded".

Also some information on lettering of the ref #: letter after 3 digit SN
-C: Chrome Case with Stainless Steel back
-S: Stainless Steel Case and back
-G: 14k/18k yellow rolled gold plated

960 (no advertising) from 1941

Al Gibbons over at the old ATG vintage watch forum used to have a few of the later 975s, he raved about their quality, and he has some of their other stuff (they issued rotating disc navigation calculators for pilots and so forth.
I also recall that the local watchmaker was incredibly impressed that the crown tube (it might have been the pusher tube) was equipped with multiple stacked cork washers to waterproof the stem. they were beginning to degrade but they were still there and fitted pretty tightly.
