·The piggyback chronograph is typically a more costly service by a significant amount and this is the issue I have with the Speedmaster Reduced. The Speedmaster Date, Speedmaster MK40, Speedmaster Racing, all use different integrated chronographs and are less of a hassle as you can just get your local independent watchmaker to handle it.
The reduced costs exactly the same to service as a MK40, Racing, Reduced Date, Professional when you send it to Omega. As of 2022 independent watchmakers are not able to source new genuine parts from Omega. Nesbits is starting to turn down Omega services because of this now. Servicing a modular chronograph is not that much more difficult than servicing an integrated one.
