So, new Speedmaster models just dropped at the Omega Days event, with two stunning Moonshine Gold models:

- a full gold Moonshine gold with sun brushed green dial and green bezel
- And a panda-dial version with rubber strap. 🥰

See pics and specs below.

I do find that a gold Speedmaster is quite special. I do like the green dial, but at this point not in the market to spend this amount on a watch.

Frankly I think the original Moonshine model with the black dial is still far more beautiful than either of these new ones :/

Nice watches, but it is clear that Omega is swimming upstream on the overall image and price level of the Speedmaster line.

As a proud owner of the Apollo 11 Moonshine, I definitely concur, but I have to agree that this new model is quite handsome as well!!

They both come on either the bracelet or a strap. Looks like leather for the dark green, but I assume a boutique would let you switch to a rubber.

I like the reverse panda on bracelet out of all their gold editions.

Ceramic bezel is a nice touch. The Canopus gold version is $9k more and has an aluminum bezel (!)

Ah yeah I meant the Sedna model. Forgot there were 3 and these Moonshines are different. No matter, I'll never be buying any of them anyway

goootcha - it was not a callout, I love the new green dial yellow/moonshine gold but if i was spending that kind of money (I won't be), it would have to be a black dial!!!

The rose/sedna gold is too pink imo but love that dial

I would love to have this kind of money to throw into one of these but its even pricier than a gold Daytona (if you could get one).

I would have to sell my BSOTM and my snoopy for one ... and I def wouldn't

but I LOOOOVE the green on a bracelet!!! F me why am I poor

No worries, I honestly had not noticed that it was more Moonshine models which is a bigger deal I suppose than just expanding the Sedna line. I've never seen the Moonshine in person (other than the bits on my Apollo XI 50th SS/gold) but I think the black dial Sedna model is super handsome. Just wouldn't wear it, I don't feel good with yellow metals on my wrist

Correct, the only good side is you can buy it instead of waiting on a list to be called. To each their own. But have to admit no forward thinking and admitting Rolex is the leader and Omega follows.

Are you telling me you cannot see traditional cues in the PO and the new Ultradeep or Speedmaster in the Snoopy.
Both brands have their style ,design language which does overlap due to changing market tastes.
Rolex updated their lines earlier than Omega and at other times Omega may update before Rolex.
At least I will order my Ultradeep and have it delivered in a timely fashion.

Any idea if these are boutique exclusives like the Canopus and Sedna versions or will these be available at AD's?

As beautiful as these are, still don’t beat the first incarnation of the ‘gold batch’…
